Apprentice Service Technician
In this position you will work with the Service Department, assisting the team to service and maintain a range of heavy vehicles in the workshop and out in the field.
You will complete a Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology over 4 years completing trade school, on the job and internal specialist training throughout.
Unique to O’Connors RedStart Program, first year full-time Diesel Mechanic apprentices will receive a toolbox valued up to $5,000.00 to help start their career with the tools required for the job.
In this position you will work with the team to provide exceptional customer service and technical parts support for agricultural machinery to our customers and the service department.
You will learn to source and identify parts from electronic catalogues, manuals and data bases to help our customers keep moving.
You will complete a Certificate III in Automotive Sales over 3 years completing on the job and formal training throughout.
What I like most about working for O’Connors is the friendly staff I work with every day as well as the opportunities and support O’Connors give me as an apprentice. I love the experience I am gaining from doing my work, as well as the experience my colleagues are passing onto me.
